This site is a tribute to Stanley (Stan) Brooks.

Stan (Dad) served in the Oxford and Bucks light infantry during the 2nd world war. For which he was awarded the Burma Star. Stan also served in the home guards before signing up to the army.

He was Life President of Buckinghamshire Darts Organisation and a founder member.

Stan will be remembered for his love of the garden at the bungalow which was never immaculate but always an adventure. Supporting Wycombe Wanderers football team through all the ups and downs at Loakes Park, and the success at Adams Park. Never forgetting his involvement with darts and a pint down the local.
